Stages

Initial consultation, medical evaluation
The process begins with direct contact through social networks or referrals from successful cases of intended parents, who receive personalized guidance and information, including a detailed explanation of the process, its stages, costs, and requirements, as well as all the facilities offered to achieve a successful pregnancy regardless of their country of origin. All consultations are conducted directly by the medical director of the program.
Once the start of the treatment is agreed upon, the intended parent(s) attend their first in-person appointment at our Fertility Clinic, where laboratory tests are performed to rule out any active sexually transmitted infections, along with semen analysis and freezing.
At the same time, the intended parent(s) are offered the selection of an egg donor with the desired biological characteristics. All donors undergo a strict genetic, psychological, infectious, and intellectual screening process, in case egg donation is required. The process then continues with in vitro fertilization of the donor’s or intended mother’s eggs with the intended father’s sperm, resulting in embryos that are frozen and stored in custody until they are transferred to the surrogate mother.
Legal consultation and counseling
In parallel with the initial virtual medical consultation, the legal counseling process is also initiated by our legal team. During this stage, the intended parent(s) receive a detailed explanation of the entire process from a legal standpoint, including its different stages. In coordination with the medical team, the selection of the surrogate mother is offered — a candidate who has been rigorously evaluated by the medical group in terms of reproductive health, psychological assessment, exclusion of sexually transmitted infections, social work visit, and a thorough review of her safety and family environment.

Gestational carrier preparation
Once all participants in the process have reached an agreement formalized in a legal document, the medical team proceeds with the clinical preparation and monitoring of the gestational carrier to determine the ideal moment for the embryo transfer. Our professional laboratory team performs the thawing of the embryo to be transferred, and the transfer is carried out with complete medical and embryological documentation provided to the intended parent(s), along with the pregnancy test result (Beta HCG measurement) confirming the success of the process.
Throughout the entire pregnancy, the corresponding follow-up is conducted by the healthcare professionals of the EPS where the gestational carrier receives care, under the continuous supervision of our medical team. The intended parent(s) are kept informed about all special tests, medical and ultrasound evaluations performed during the pregnancy, as well as the appropriate timing for the delivery.
Preparation of legal documents
As the pregnancy progresses, legal and psychological support is provided to both the gestational carrier and the intended parents to ensure that all legal matters are resolved well in advance of the birth. This includes the completion of birth certificates, passports, and other necessary documents that establish the intended parents’ legal rights as the baby’s lawful parents. Our legal team ensures that all documentation is properly filed to avoid any postpartum setbacks.

Once the gestational carrier goes into labor, we ensure that the intended parent(s) are informed so they can attend and be present for the birth if they wish, receiving support during this important moment. Likewise, both the surrogate and the newborn receive guidance from the legal team to ensure that their healthcare coverage is guaranteed for up to two months after delivery.
